Il corridore
The Runner
On a flat road runs the well-train’d runner,
He is lean and sinewy with muscular legs,
He is thinly clothed, he leans forward as he runs,
With lightly closed fists and arms partially rais’d.
Su una strada piana corre il corridore ben allenato,
è magro e nerboruto con gambe muscolose,
è vestito leggero, si sporge in avanti mentre corre,
con i pugni chiusi leggermente e le braccia in parte sollevate.
