My city’s fit and noble name resumed,
Choice aboriginal name, with marvellous beauty, meaning,
A rocky founded island—shores where ever gayly dash the coming, going, hurrying sea waves.
Il nome adatto e nobile della mia città ripreso,
nome aborigeno scelto, con meravigliosa bellezza, significato,
un’isola fondata nella roccia, rive dove sempre allegre si infrangono le onde del mare che vengono, vanno, si affrettano.
